Some past conferences in Probability and Statistical Mechanics:

 

·         A workshop Phase transitions and Algorithmic Complexity will take place at the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics at UCLA from June 3--5, 2002. At this meeting I gave a tutorial lecture on disordered systems. You can have a look at my Lecture notes.

·         A meeting Dynamical Systems: Classical, Quantum, and Stochastic will be organized by G. Benfatto, E. Olivieri, L Triolo, C. Falcolini, and A. Pellegrinotti at the Serra degli Alimini (Otranto, Lecce) from September 14--19 2002.

·         A meeting "Stochastic model from statistical physics III" will take place at EURANDOM in Eindhoven, NL, from October 7- 11, 2002. This meeting is organised by A. Bovier, J.-D. Deuschel, and F. den Hollander.

·         The II Workshop on Dynamics and Randomness will take place December 9--13, 2002 at Santiago de Chile. Here is a preliminary version of my Lecture Notes and transparencies

·         During March 2003 there will be a program on "Statistical Mechanics and Probability Theory" at the Centre International de Rencontres en Mathematiques (CIRM) in Marseille. In particular, the week of March 10-14 will be devoted to Disordered Systems . You can have look at my transparencies part 1 and part 2

·           XXIX Conference on Stochastic Processes and Applications and VII Brazilian School on Probability will be held at the beautiful Angra dos Reis, Brazil, from August 3—9. Slides

·         A number of workshops will take place during 2003 at the Isaac Newton Institute in Cambridge, UK, in the context of the programme Interaction and Growth in Complex Stochastic Systems ,21 Jul-19 Dec 2003, in particular a workshop on Random Walks in Random Environments, August 18-22.

·         A conference on Equilibrium and Dynamics of Spin Glasses took place April 18--23, 2004 at the Centro Stephano Franscini, Monte Verita (Ascona), Switzerland. The meeting is organized by Erwin Bolthausen and Anton Bovier and is part of the ESF-Programme "Random Dynamics of Spatially extended Systems" (RDSES) .

·           A Concentration period with a workshop Metastability, ageing, and anomalous diffusion will be organised May 09 -- 21, 2005 (workshop May 19 --21) at the Max-Planck-Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences, Leipzig, Germany. Organisers are A. Bovier and Stefan Mueller. The school organized in the framework of the ESF-Programme "Random Dynamics of Spatially extended Systems" (RDSES) .  

·         A Summer School on Mathematical Statistical Physics will take place July 4 -- 29, 2005 at the Ecole de Physique Theorique in Les Houches, France. The directors of the School are A. Bovier, F. den Hollander, F. Dunlap, and A. van Enter. The school organized in the framework of the ESF-Programme "Random Dynamics of Spatially Extended Systems" (RDSES) .    

·         The International Congress of Mathematicians will take place July 22 -- 30, 2006 in Madrid
